These words are weighing me down,
but I can't get them off my chest.
I'm always stuck in regression,
my head's filling up with all this tension.
I lose interest so fast in everything,
so I'm burning all my bridges,
starting from the in-betweens.

Things just aren't the same...

Feelings, do you remember feeling anything at all?
& I wrote these words down so many times before.

My friends & I used to get by
sleeping in 'till 3, & getting high,
blowing smoke out of car windows.
Now I barely sleep, & barely speak,
& all for the wrong reasons,
I'm just jaded, faithless, but at least I fucking know it.

Things just aren't the same...

I'm not better than anybody, & I never said I was.
I'm just not fond of anything anymore.
